Today someone very special and close to my heart made my day. This furson has been a long standing friend of mine, always there to lend a helping paw and always there to console me in my times of need. *Smiles*

To my very special tiger friend , you have made this silly lion very happy and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. *Licks and feline headbutts.*

I have a dream… ok well I had a dream a few nights ago and I must admit it was very disconcerting. I’m not one to grope or dwell on past issues but last night I realized all through my life I’ve been second best to someone else.

Yes of course I agree that there will always be someone that knows more than you or someone who is better than you in some way at something.

In my dream I saw myself as a child been shafted from a game of tag, excluded from many other activities along the way as well as been disregarded in a national science competition mainly because of the color of my skin. “No racial undertone in that last comment.”

But the worse I recall, to date is when someone I care about, someone I still think very highly of chose someone else over me on the basis of distance. Yes I have been second best many a time with regards to relationships and boy hood crushes, but I guess that is why they call it a crush.

You begin to question what made that other person choose the other, what makes the other person so much better than yourself. The answer is you don’t know and that is life. Thankfully the human spirit does not allow one to give up so easily and with the idea of hope in mind one realizes it was never meant to be and I am happy with this realization.

I’ve always sensed if something is too good to be true it cannot last or it is a double edged sword. Thankfully this person and I are now still good friends and when I think about it friendship means more to me anyway.

With that said I love my mate Nanukk dearly and I’m so happy to find someone that cares so much for me. *Licks*

Ah yes there is some good news about two months ago I stumbled upon a local furry artist by the name of Kad Foxwolf , a very kind, considerate and not to mention very intelligent, diversified individual. He is so cool and through him I’m starting to get to know a few of our local furs here in South Africa. *Jumps for joy.*

Kad is an amazing guy and strangely we share many interests and funny enough past histories and tragedies. He is how should I put it…. Grrrrowl, a delectable foxy! *Blushes* I’m speechless, can’t believe I even said that and you know what is the worst part he is already taken. *Sigh* “Just my luck oh well story of my life, have to keep an open mind and maybe I’ll meet someone just like him someday.”

Dear all,

Today is Timmi’s birthday , one of my good local furry friends that is turning 20. I really hope he has a lovely and fun filled day ahead. Please if any of you have some free time just go and wish him happy birthday. *Hugs*

On a more personal note my social and love life has gone to pot because of all the assignments I have to do for college. Come to think of it I’ve really never had a love life before, there are a few people I have my eye on, but inevitably they are all taken or they are so far away. *Sad Growl*
